Carbide Segmented Dies
Carbide segmented dies are one of SMF Tools’ greatest specialties. Over the years the organisation has made some major progresses, which have resulted in a highly efficient way of producing these products with a very reliable reproducibility unique in the world. This type of dies is mainly used for hexagonal shapes (for example, hex head bolts), although fewer or more sides can be accommodated.
As this design of die consists of several parts, the separate segments are all able to move to a greater extent and are consequently more resistant to wear.
